I had worked in Marketing and Sales for nearly ten years both here in New Zealand and in the Middle East.
I’ve always wanted to further my studies and an MBA had been an attractive option for years. I wanted to test myself at a higher level of leadership and the MBA seemed like a good pathway. UC was a great option as I had settled in Christchurch and didn’t want to study online or travel.
The people! You become really close with your MBA colleagues really fast due to the nature of team assignments. Some of those people have become close friends, many more are brilliant networks across the city and throughout New Zealand. The leadership papers were the biggest academic highlight and I carry many of those lessons with me today.
